Before we connect an agent, let's get the app and its account ready.

Mac download — coming with the public release. The download link will be added here when the release is available. You can also visit the download page.

Open the downloaded archive, move Agent Workspace to your Applications folder, and launch it.

Install with HomebrewCopy link to section: Install with Homebrew

Once the public release is available, you can install the app with Homebrew:

bash
brew install --cask cacheplane/tap/agent-workspace

The cask will be published with the release. If you run the command before then, Homebrew cannot find it.

RequirementsCopy link to section: Requirements

You need a Mac with Apple Silicon running macOS 26 or later. The iPhone companion requires iOS 26 or later.

Codex and Claude Code use their own installed runtimes and authentication on your Mac. B4 agents run on a B4 server with its own model-provider configuration.

Sign in to the appCopy link to section: Sign in to the app

Open Agent Workspace. The sign-in screen offers Continue with a passkey and Continue with Apple. Follow the system sign-in flow. If you create an account, onboarding asks for your name.

This is your app account. It does not replace your Codex or Claude Code login, and it does not supply model credentials to a B4 server.

Continue with Codex or Claude Code. If sign-in fails, use troubleshooting before starting a conversation.
